How do I begin a Lyssn telehealth session with my client?

Clients can access Lyssn’s telehealth using smartphones and tablets (android or iphone) or laptop/desktop computers. At the present time, Lyssn’s platform requires counselors to use laptop/desktop computers using Chrome browser.

  •  Select the client from the list on the left side of the page.

    • If your client is not in the list on the left, please create a new client using the image-png-Jun-30-2023-12-58-37-4904-PM next to the search field.

  • Click on the orange Start New Session button in the upper right corner of the page, then select Telehealth session from the drop-down menu.

  • This will provide a pop-up window that includes the client url to the telehealth session. Select the Copy Link button and email this to your client.

  • Select one of the 3 recording permissions
    • Do not record this session allows you to interact with your client via Lyssn telehealth using video and audio capability, but does not retain the session recording.
    • Record this session's audio allows you to retain only the audio portion of the session, while still allowing you to interact with your client via video.
    • Record this session's video and audio allows you to retain both audio and video on the session
  • Select Start Session button for the telehealth session to begin
