Browser Requirements when accessing Lyssn

Here are best practices for accessing Lyssn.

TIPS

  • Ensure you are on the most recent version of Lyssn by completing a hard refresh in your browser: Ctrl + Shift + R (Windows/Linux) or Cmd + Shift + R (Mac)
  • Always use a laptop or desktop computer when accessing Lyssn
  • Users should not access Lyssn via mobile devices (e.g., iPhone, Tablet, etc.)
  • Lyssn works best when using Google Chrome Browser
  • If you are required to access Lyssn via a VPN connection, please contact support@lyssn.io

Ensure your browser is up to date by following the guidance below

  • Open Google Chrome

  • Select “Settings
  • On the left menu, select “About Chrome

  • The following screen will appear and confirm Chrome is up to date (as pictured below) OR will recommend an update.

Ensure Lyssn can access your computer’s camera and microphone

  • Open Google Chrome

  • Select “Settings”
  • On the left menu, select “Privacy and Security”

  • Select the “Site Settings”

  • Scroll to the section labeled “Permissions”
  • Select “Camera”

From the dropdown list of options, select the camera you will be using

  • Click the back arrow next to “Camera” to go back to the previous screen
  • Select “Microphone”

Clear your Browser Cache   

  • Open Google Chrome

  • Select “Settings
  • On the left menu, select “Privacy and Security

  • Select “Delete browsing data

  • From the Time Range dropdown, select “Last 7 Days”. Ensure all boxes are checked and then click “Delete Data
